Announcing T-Mobile Network Spectrum Upgrades

Changes May Affect Ultra Mobile Customer Data Service!

Network upgrades to LTE

Ultra Mobile’s parent carrier T-Mobile® is upgrading and expanding its 4G LTE coverage in several major metro areas. These upgrades improve data speeds and voice experience for the majority of our customers who use 4G LTE.

Some customers without 4G LTE capable devices may need to upgrade for optimal network performance. After network upgrades occur, customers still using certain handsets, tablets and wearable devices (that are not capable of 4G LTE) will only be able to connect to 2G data speeds, and in some cases, they may experience dropped calls.

You will be notified via text message if your current device and location will impact your service. If you are impacted, we encourage you to visit your local authorized wireless Retailer to upgrade to a device that will allow you to continue enjoying full-speed Ultra Mobile service.
