How do I switch from h2o Wireless to Ultra Mobile?

Now that you’ve decided to join the Ultra family, it’s time to officially make the switch. Let’s go over what to do before, during and after you’ve made the switch. 

1. Prepárate para el cambio

Make absolute sure Ultra Mobile is going to work for you by checking your phone’s compatibility with our network and the cobertura in your area. 2. ¿Traerás tu propio teléfono?

If you are bringing your own phone, in addition to being compatible with our network, it must also be desbloqueado. For more information on bringing your own phone to Ultra, visit our Página BYOP

3. Bring Your Own Number (or Get a New One)

If you would like to bring your h2o wireless number over to Ultra, there are a few things you need to do before you activate your Ultra Mobile account. 

Don’t cancel your h2o Wireless service yet

If you cancel your h2o Wireless account before transferring your number to Ultra, the number will be lost.  

Gather essential account details

To bring your number to Ultra, you’ll need your h2o Wireless Account Number, Account PIN or Number Transfer PIN and billing ZIP Code.

Have h2o Wireless release your number

Contact h2o Wireless’ customer support (1-800-643-4926) and ask them to release your number and provide your “port out” account number.

Get your h2o Wireless account PIN Number

While on the phone with their customer support, h2o may require you to provide 3 most recent outgoing calls (or another form of validation) before giving you your PIN.

If you want a new Ultra Mobile phone number, all you need to do is provide us with your home ZIP code during the activation process and we’ll give you one based on your location.
